Spring 2008 Web Course Student Evaluation of Instruction (SEI)

Begins at noon on April 21, 2008 and ends May 4, 2008

To complete the SEI you must use steps A-G below.
 
A.  Login Blackboard
B.  Select Web Course to be evaluated from My Courses
C.  On left side of screen, select Communication
D.  Select Group Pages
E.  Select your name from list
F.  Select Group Discussion Board
G.  Look for message:  STUDENT EVALUATION OF INSTRUCTION (SEI) to
      get the link and passwords, then follow instructions to complete the
Web Course SEI 
 
**NOTE: Use Step 5 on the instructions below and disregard Step 5 on
Blackboard

Instructions for  completing the online SEI for Web Courses

1. Identify class/class type and instructor before you begin the evaluation.
2. Note that the rating system goes from poorest rating on the left to the
best rating on the right.
3. Select one of the responses for each statement on the evaluation.
4. When you have completed all statements on Part 1 evaluation, click
submit.  A popup box will appear to confirm you are ready to submit, click
ok to submit or cancel to return to the evaluation.
**5. Once you have submitted Part 1 of the evaluation, it will bring you
Back to the login screen to complete Part 2 of the evaluation.
6. Enter password (Part 2) to gain access and repeat steps 1 ­ 4.
7. If you have another class to evaluation online, select next class from
Blackboard and repeat until all courses/instructors are evaluated.
